ORLANDO, Fla. -

After rejecting the final offer from the Brooklyn Nets for Dwight Howard Wednesday, Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan reached out to the center and asked him to reconsider staying in Orlando under the new regime, according to a report filed on ESPN.com.

Howard, however, did not change his mind, saying he still wants out of Orlando.

According to the report, Hennigan based his plea on the fact that he is new to the organization and was not a part of the issues that drove Howard to demand a trade.
