TAMPA, Fla. -

If you're trying to get in shape and stay slim, Tampa may be one of the worst places for you.

It was just ranked by Men's Fitness magazine as one of the "fattest cities" in America.

The magazine looked at several things including the number of fast food restaurants in each city, and how long the average commute to work takes.

Men's Fitness finds that Houston is the fattest city in America. That's followed by Detroit, Cleveland, Memphis, and Tampa.

The Centers for Disease Control says that 34 percent of people in Houston are overweight.

As far as the fittest cities go, the magazine finds that Portland, Oregon is the best, followed by San Francisco, Albuquerque, Oakland, and Boston.
