ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -

Sears is expected to close its store at West Oaks Mall in January, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The paper reports that 102 jobs will be lost when the store shuts its doors in January.

The company said that eligible workers will receive severance and have a chance to apply for open positions at Sears or Kmart stores in the areas.

In February, Sears announced it was closing 11 stores nationally.  It is reported that the properties were being sold for $270 million to landlord General Growth Properties.
