ORLANDO, Fla. -

Getting involved with team sports may determine if a child smokes, according to a new study conducted by University of Southern California researchers.

The study says that kids are more likely to smoke if their teammates do, and the tendency may be stronger for girls.

Children involved in multiple sports are less likely to smoke than those playing a couple of sports.
