The two-vehicle crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on I-4 westbound at Anderson Street near State Road 408.  The interstate was closed for hours because of the crash and spill.

The driver of the big rig was taken to a hospital but was expected to be OK.  The other driver was not injured.

Motorists were re-routed onto Anderson Street, taking Division to Gore Street and back to I-4. John Young Parkway and Orange Blossom Trail were alternate routes.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

According to Lynx bus officials, all Link 38 and 50 routes were detoured off I-4 near the LYNX Central Station, causing delays.
