OSTEEN, Fla. -

A 17-year-old wanted for attempted homicide was caught in Osteen Friday morning after deputies say he was driving a stolen vehicle, refused to stop for authorities and then crashed the vehicle.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, Jamiroquan Jamal McGill was driving southbound on State Road 415 and continued to drive as deputies attempted to make a traffic stop.

Deputies deployed stop sticks to get McGill to stop, but were unsuccessful. He then crashed into a stationary motorcycle.

No one was injured, deputies said.

McGill is wanted for three misdemeanor warrants out of Volusia County for failure to comply with court orders. He's also believed to be responsible for an unknown number of residential burglaries in the Deltona, Oviedo and Lake Mary areas and
possibly Apopka as well, according to police.
