ORLANDO, Fla. -

Spring Break and the Easter holiday mean big crowds at the theme parks this week.

While neither park has reported reaching maximum capacity, both are dealing with long wait times. A check of Universal's Facebook app Tuesday afternoon showed wait times of more than two hours for a lot of the attractions.

We met one family from Minnesota who told Local 6 the crowds were putting a damper on their vacation. Jeanne Krizmarzick said lines were tolerable Monday, but are a bit too long today.

"We've been here for a couple of days and this is the busiest we've seen it so far," Krizmarzick said.

Video from Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter showed the wait time just to inside the attraction was more than one hour. Sky 6 flew over both Universal and Disney, finding large crowds and long lines.

At times this week Disney has reached what's called "Phase 3 Capacity." That means only annual passholders and guests staying on property were admitted. Representatives from Disney tell Local 6 it is a very popular time for the parks, and while they have extended hours and added extra entertainment to accommodate guests.

Both Disney and Universal offer apps you can use to check wait times before heading to the parks. For more on that, check out our Theme World blog.
