ORLANDO, Fla. -

A College Park woman came face-to-face with a thief right in her backyard, and it was all caught on camera.

It happened around 2:30 Thursday afternoon near Lake Silver and Edgewater High School.

Allison Palmer had just come home with her young child when she spotted the man riding her husband's bicycle across her porch.

"That's when he saw me and he kind of stumbled off his bike," said Palmer.

The whole incident was caught on Palmer's home surveillance cameras, including Palmer running outside after the thief. He managed to get away, stealing her husband's $300 dark green mountain bike.

Minutes earlier, a neighbor spotted the same man trying to break into her car.

Raid cans Police say in both cases, the suspect left behind a can of Raid bug spray, possibly trying to use the spray to cover up any fingerprints he may have left behind.

Local 6 first met Palmer last April when she was installing the security cameras.

Her house was one of several in College Park broken into and she was determined if it ever happened again she would at least catch the crook on camera.

"It's scary, but I feel very thankful and blessed that we're all OK," said Palmer.

The suspect was last seen wearing khaki pants with a black shirt tucked in. If you have any information, you are asked to call Orlando police.
