ORLANDO, Fla. -

Universal Orlando's holiday celebrations will begin Saturday, Dec. 1 with multiple specials including the Macy's Holiday Parade.

Beginning on Dec. 1, Universal Orlando will feature Grinchmas at Seuss Landing in Islands of Adventure. Grinchmas features the "Grinchmas Whoville Spectacular" live show featuring The Grinch and the Whos from Who-ville, accompanied by an original musical score by Mannheim Steamroller.

Also, at the Universal Orlando theme park, the Macy's Holiday Parade features the same larger-than-life balloons seen in the famous New York City parade. The parade will include all-new Nutcracker and Mouse King “trycaloons” – tandem tricycles that appear to be pedaled by balloon characters from the holiday tale.

Additionally, Christmas music sensation Mannheim Steamroller will return with more performances than ever before. The musical group will perform holiday hits on the Music Plaza stage in Universal Studios eight nights this year - December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23.

The holiday events – including the Mannheim Steamroller concerts – are included as part of two-park or multi-day admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and will occur from Dec. 1 to Jan. 1, 2013.
