Volusia County deputies said a 56-year-old woman who disappeared while visiting from out of state has been found safe.

Gara Lynn Kristyak, who lives in Pennsylvania, has been visiting relatives in Ormond Beach and was reported missing earlier this week. 

Deputies said she called a relative on Wednesday to let him know where she was, and she was then picked up and returned to her family.

Family members had said Kristyak had become increasingly anxious and paranoid over a tax issue with the IRS.
