ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -

Wawa announced they will host a grand opening of their second Florida store on Wednesday.

The second of five Wawa stores to open in Central Florida in a little more than a month will be located at 4700 South Goldenrod Road in Orlando. Wawa will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, sampling of Wawa products and a charity hoagie building competition, "Hoagies for Heroes," featuring the Orange County Sheriff's department and Orange County Fire Rescue.

According to a release, Wawa will continue its partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, in which the first five stores will donate a portion of hoagie sales to the charity.

“We are thrilled to continue to open our doors in the Greater Orlando area and share this momentous occasion with our Orange County friends and neighbors, welcoming them to enjoy our unique brand of appetizing convenience,” said Howard Stoeckel, Wawa’s CEO in a release.

The grand opening will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
