Woman, 28, accused of making child pornography
FBI: Sarah Adleta, of Oviedo, filmed herself sexually abusing children
An Oviedo woman was arrested Friday on child pornography charges.
According to the FBI, 28-year-old Sarah Adleta sexually abused children, recorded it and then shared the content on the Internet.
Neighbors told Local 6 they were stunned to hear Adleta was charged with three counts of child pornography.
“I'm just in speechless shock right now that my neighbor does that,” said Cheney Mills.
Agents made the arrest at her Oviedo home after learning Adleta allegedly sent images of herself sexually abusing children to a man in North Carolina. That man was later arrested for having sex with a child.
Investigators said Adleta used Skype, email, and her cell phone to send images of the sex acts.
Adleta, who was taking several classes at UCF, admitted to agents she started producing child porn a year ago, authorities said.
Cheney Mills said Adelta would volunteer to babysit her kids, but she always felt something just wasn't right.
“I feel so good I went with my gut and never let her watch my kids," said Mills.
As of Friday night, Adleta was in jail and awaiting a bond hearing.
