Woman released after arrest on cruise for 1991 crime
Robin Hall was arrested after debarking a cruise with her family
A woman who authorities discovered had an arrest warrant issued for a decades-old crime after she debarked a cruise was released from custody per a judge's order.
41-year-old Robin Hall was released by Orange County Judge Carolyn Freeman on Wednesday after she was arrested by port authorities in Brevard County and served seven days in the county jail, according to Florida Today.
On Wednesday, she was taken to Orange County Jail where she was released.
The "commitment order", issued in 1999, said that Hall was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service, which she failed to do after she shoplifted cigarettes in 1991 when she was 18.
The 22-year-old case is now considered closed. An earlier report said that Hall was being held for failing to pay an $85 fee, but officials confirmed that is incorrect.
