SANFORD, Fla. -

The defense team for George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed Trayvon Martin, is asking for the public's help in finding comments from attorney Mark O'Mara they feel are inappropriate.

According to a post on GZLegalCase.com, a private email has been leaked to the Internet asking for help researching for their defense against the state's renewed motion for a gag order.

The email reads, "We're confident that everything we've posted, and everything we've said publicly is proper and well within our rights, but we know that on Friday, the State is likely to find the most questionable thing Mark's said and present it to the Court. I'd like to ask if you and other supporters could help us scour the web and, strange as it may sound, send us links to the most potentially questionable statements we have made during this process."

The defense states it is confident all of O'Mara's statements are "easily defendable" and that they just want to know "what we're likely to have thrown back at us."

O'Mara's team invites the public to send a link as a comment on the site, or tweet it at @gzlegalcase, to any statement the defense has made publicly about the case that they find inappropriate.
