VIERA, Fla. - Jury selection is underway in the first-degree murder trial of a man accused of killing a Brevard County deputy.
Brandon Bradley arrived in a suit and tie to court on Monday morning. Bradley is accused of shooting and killing Deputy Barbara Pill during a traffic stop nearly two years ago.
The judge says the trial could last up to five weeks and if Bradley is convicted, he could be sentenced to the death penalty.
Bradley's girlfriend, Andria Kerchner, has already pleaded guilty and been sentenced to 12 years in prison. She is expected to testify against Bradley.
Jury selection is expected to last several days.
