SINGAPORE – It can be a traveler's worst nightmare: Being seated next to a crying baby on a plane.
One airline hopes passengers will pay to sit in a non-child section.
Scoot, the budget division of Singapore Airlines, has added a "quiet zone" option dubbed "ScootinSlience."
The "ScootinSlience" area of the plane would ban any children under the age of 12, according to USA Today.
The airline is charging passengers roughly $15 to sit in the child-free zone.
According to reports, the "ScootinSilence" cabin will feature 41 seats that will provide passengers extra legroom.
