ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A missing child alert was issued Tuesday for a 14-year-old Altamonte Springs girl, who has since been found in good health, according to police.
Authorities said Mekinzi Corbin was last seen around 8 p.m. Sunday at a family member's house on Ford Avenue in unincorporated Altamonte Springs. When they woke Monday morning, Mekinzi was gone, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said family members were concerned about Mekinzi's well-being because she recently made threats to harm herself.
No other details on her finding were released. Police said she was found in the area.
