Alligator trappers sought in Osceola County

Applications due by Feb. 14

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is searching for nuisance alligator trappers in Osceola County.

According to a news release sent out on Monday, FWC is accepting applications for contracted nuisance alligator trappers.

The applications must be received by Feb. 14.

Applicants must reside in Osceola County, have no criminal history, no fish or wildlife law violations and a valid email address, according to the release.

FWC said preference will be given to applicants who reside east of the Turnpike.
