Another hot February day on tap in Central Florida

High temperatures to reach mid-80s in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – It will be a downright hot day in Central Florida on Wednesday, with high temperatures again reaching the mid-80s.

Tuesday was another record-setting day in Orlando as the high temperature jumped to 87 degrees.  The high broke the previous record of 86 degrees from 1990 and 1957.

On Wednesday, a cold front rolls in for the afternoon. The high should reach 85 degrees before the showers begin.  The record for Wednesday is 87 degrees, set in 1982.  Rain chances are 50 percent.

Overnight lows will be in the low 60s.

On Thursday, the high will be 70 degrees, the coolest day of the forecast period. Rain chance on Thursday will be 40 percent.

The high goes to 77 degrees on Friday and 80 on Saturday. 

Rain chances range from 30 to 40 percent through the weekend.
