Arraignment set for teen charged in deadly Winter Park beating

Simeon Hall submits written plea of not guilty

ORLANDO, Fla. – The case surrounding a Winter Park teen accused of killing a 15-year-old boy is due back before a judge Thursday. 

An arraignment is set for Simeon Hall on manslaughter charges. Hall is not expected to be in court since he submitted a written plea of not guilty earlier this week.

Hall is charged with killing Winter Park High School student Roger Trindade last year. 

Hall's case was moved from juvenile to adult court earlier this month after he was arrested for a second time for allegedly attacking another teen. 

He is being held without bond at the Orange County jail.
