The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the shooting the began after 5 p.m. Thursday. Police said the victim had two gunshot wounds in his legs.

Local 6 is not identifying the suspect because of his age. Police said an active investigation is ongoing and detectives are actively seeking the other 2 suspects, not identified.

Echo Vaughn said she won't let her kids play at the park after someone unleashed a hail of gunfire into the park pavilion as children played.

"A bullet doesn't have a name on it. There were a lot of people out here when it happened," said Vaughn. "Anybody could have got shot, not just him. The car went up once, shot, came back down, shot again."

Many neighbors asked to remain anonymous, fearing the shooter could come back again. It's unclear what sparked the shooting, or even who was the intended target.

"One behind another, many, many, many. I'd say about 30 shots, one behind another," said one 14-year-old girl who asked to remain anonymous.

The 14-year-old girl was inside, heard the gunfire and rushed to help get her mother into the house.

"I think it's terrible. We have 5 year olds out here pushing 3 year olds in strollers," she said. "What if it would have been a baby that would have gotten shot?"
