Arrest made in fatal road rage hit-and-run in Daytona Beach

Michael Edmonds arrested on 1st-degree murder charges

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A man was arrested Thursday in a fatal road rage hit-and-run crash in Daytona Beach, according to police.

Michael Edmonds, 32, was arrested on first-degree murder charges in connection to the crash, which occurred May 5 near the corner of Seabreeze Boulevard and Oleander Avenue.

Police said Christopher Farmer, 27, of Ormond Beach, was run over and killed by Edmonds, who was driving red two-door convertible.

According to police, words were exchanged Edmonds and Farmer, who was then run down.
