Deputies said the robbery may be connected to an Orlando robbery earlier in the day, but it's not believed to be related to a string of hotel robberies throughout Central Florida.

Several area law enforcement agencies continue to investigate about a dozen armed robberies that have occurred since December at hotels and restaurants in Orange, Polk and Seminole counties.

A reward for information in the string of robberies was recenly increased to $15,000.
