Three men were arrested early Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Orlando, and at least one of them may be linked to a recent rash of crimes.

The robbery occurred late Monday at the store on South Orange Blossom Trail at Americana Boulevard.

Orange County Sherriff's deputies believe at least one of the men may be connected to a string of robberies in the area, including at a Waffle House and Circle K on Orange Blossom Trail and a Burger King.

Deputies said the culprit has worn masks in the first couple of robberies, but in a robbery two days earlier, he did not.

During the robbery Monday night, deputies said the man used a bandana to cover his face and pointed a gun at the clerk while demanding cash.  Once he got what he wanted he took off in a white SUV, deputies said.

After a short pursuit, the SUV was pulled over and three men were taken into custody.  Deputies say cash and a weapon were found in the car.

No other details were immediately released.
