CASSELBERRY, Fla. -

Local 6 has learned the Orange County man accused of possessing child pornography confessed to police that he took the pictures found in his storage facility and also molested children.

Fleetwood Peeples Jr. admitted to police he took pornographic pictures of children and molested them decades ago. He says the children lived in his neighborhood and were in his Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops.

Peeples made the admission to Orlando police in January, according to the arrest warrant. Police later found two photo albums containing more than 100 Polaroid photographs in a self storage unit in Orlando.

The pictures were of 12 children who were ages 5-12 years old when the photos were taken, which police believe was in the 1970s.

The children were all posing nude, according to an arrest warrant obtained by Local 6.

Peeples told police he took the photos. He also said he was a Scout leader and took the children on camping trips and molested them.

The 76-year-old fell and hit his head at Uncle Bob's Self Storage, on Silver Star Road in Orlando. Police were called because Peeples needed to be transported to a hospital.

Police say while he was in the ambulance, and at the hospital he kept asking for his camera. When an officer asked if he could see the pictures on the camera, Peeples told the officer "he was going to jail for what he's done" and started to cry uncontrollably," according to the warrant.

Peeples was arrested on Valentine’s Day and is still in the Orange County Jail.

Orlando police say they are trying to locate the victims, who would be between 30 and 50 years old now.
