“Lightstone will be taking its Artegon Marketplace property in a new direction. While it was a difficult decision to discontinue operations, we are thankful to our team in Orlando, and to our tenants, for their hard work and dedication over the past several years," Lightstone said in a statement released to News 6.

Artegon will close Jan. 26.

Details about the future plans for the facility are not known.

Artegon Marketplace, located on International Drive in Orlando, opened in 2014. The facility first opened in 2002 as Festival Bay Mall.

Many Aretegon stores were operated by local artists and offered clothing, jewelry and more.

Anchor stores, including Bass Pro Shops and the movie theater, will remain open.
