Saint Hoax, a pseudonymous artist, has created images of Ariel, Cinderella, Jasmine and Aurora by adding black eyes, busted lips and bloody noses to promote his "Happily Never After" campaign that aims to bring awareness to domestic abuse.

Hoax said on his Facebook page the goal of the posters is to encourage victims to report their cases.

The images include a caption that reads, "When did he stop treating you like a princess? It's never too late to put an end to it."

Local 6 reached out to Disney for a comment but they have not responded.
