At least one motorcyclist injured in crash, Titusville police say

Driver of SUV involved in crash not injured, officers say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – The Titusville Police Department is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV that happened early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Park Avenue and Golfview Drive around 3:15 a.m.

Police said that so far, investigation has revealed that the driver of an SUV, Curtea Williams, 29, of Titusville, was driving north on Park Avenue when she veered into the southbound lane and struck a motorcyclist, Ronald Bastine, 27, and his passenger, Mariah Brockman, 23, both of Titusville, head on. The impact of the crash threw Bastine and Brockman off the motorcycle, police said.

Bastine sustained serious injuries during the crash, and Brockman's injuries were not yet known, police said. Both were airlifted to nearby hospitals.

Williams was not injured in the crash, police said.
