Author to speak to women nearing retirement
'Project Renewment' prepares women beyond finances
Women who are nearing retirement age or already there can get some advice for what can be a scary next step in their lives.
The book, "Project Renewment" is specifically designed for the largest generation of career women to ever retire.
Authors Bernice Bratter and Helen Dennis wrote the book to give the pre-boomer and baby boomer generation of pioneer women a trailblazing retirement model.
The term 'renewment' is coined because so many of these women reject the word 'retirement', and the authors hope to grow a grassrooots movement of women's groups along with the book.
A book signing event with Helen Davis will be held at the Orlando Marriot in Lake Mary on February 8 at 4PM. The event is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
The event is being hosted by the Symphony Financial Team, and they are planning to start a Project Renewment women's group after the event.
