Fire officials, police and water department personnel went to Wickham Road and Lake Washington Road as the mother duck frantically waddled back and forth in a panic.

Fire officials used a net to catch the ducklings as water department officials crawled under the road into the storm drain.

The ordeal lasted for about 30 minutes, but all 10 ducklings were rescued.  They were then released back into a pond.
