ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are investigating a two-car accident that killed one and sent several people to the hospital Saturday evening.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes of the Beachline, just east of Semoran Boulevard.

Police said at least seven people were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries and one person was killed.
Police said the lanes were shut down while they conduct their investigation and are asking drivers to avoid the area.
