ORLANDO, Fla. -

A sign that has stood in Orlando for more than 40 years is about to be torn down.

The Beefy King sign has looked over Orlando's Milk District on Bumby Avenue for almost 46 years.

The restaurant owners tell Local 6 that the sign is beginning to show its age. They say they are planning to put a new sign up that looks like the old one.

Owners hope the Morse Museum will store the old sign along with a collection of other historic signs from the area.
