Boil water advisories in Lake, Volusia counties

Boil Water advisories have been issued in Port Orange and The Villages on Wednesday.

According to officials in The Villages, a water main break in the Little Sumter service area has caused the homes located near the Villas of Sherwood, SE 79th Court and SE 80th Biltmore Avenue.

In Port Orange, a water valve issue prompted the Public Utilities department to issue a boil water notice near Charles Street, 5th Street and Sugar Mill Elementary School.

Both boil water advisories are effective immediately and in tact for further notice.
