Three Orlando schools were locked down Wednesday afternoon because of bomb threats, but nothing threatening was found, officials said.
Orlando police said a caller, identified only as an unknown male, reported there was a bomb at Boone High School and a bomb at Jones High School.
Both schools, along with Blankner Elementary School, which is located a half-mile from Boone High, were locked down.
Orlando police checked Boone High and Blankner Elementary but found nothing, allowing both school to resume normal operations, including dismissal, officials said. The lockdown at Jones High was lifted a short time later.
Police said an unattended backpack was found at Jones High and was later determined not to be a threat.
Video from Local 6 News helicopter Sky 6 showed emergency vehicles outside both high schools.
