According to Brevard County Public Schools, a message was left on the school's answering machine Wednesday night, and the school was evacuated after the message was heard Thursday morning.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office conducted a sweep of the elementary school and later gave the all-clear.

Video from Local 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed students gathered on a field outside the school before boarding buses, which transported the children to Cocoa High School.

Brevard School spokeswoman Michelle Irwin said the students were moved for their safety and comfort, noting the warm temperatures.

Students ate lunch at Cocoa High and will be taken back to Saturn Elementary, where classes will resume as normal, officials said.
