CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Police say a 13-year-old southwest Florida boy is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a homeless man.
The teen was arrested at his home on Sunday and was being held without bond.
The News-Press of Fort Myers reports 51-year-old Thomas J. Bergstrom was found dead in a homeless camp on Saturday morning. Police say he had been stabbed multiple times.
Cape Coral Sgt. Dana Coston says detectives identified the teen as a suspect based on evidence found at the scene.
No further details were immediately available.
Last week, a 12-year-old boy was arrested in the slaying of a homeless man in Jacksonville.
