Boy Scouts injured in van accident

Camp van flips in South Carolina

WINDEREMERE, Fla. – Mike Neff of Gotha tells Local 6 his son is not in critical condition.
Neff's teenage son is one of two teens from the Winderemere troop #225 who were involved in the accident.
According to an email sent out by scoutmaster Barry Hughes, the teens are in the hospital in Greenville, South Carolina with various injuries that will keep them there for several days.
Two scouts from another troop who were on the bus are in critical condition.
The bus was heading back to the camp from an "adventure trek" where scouts earn a merit badge for participating.
In his email, scoutmaster writes, "...when emergency services arrived on scene, several scouts including Tyler and Jacob were attending their fellow Scouts in spite of their personal injuries."
