APOPKA, Fla. – The owner of the Beef 'O' Brady's in Apopka is looking to get results by offering his own reward to catch the suspects who broke into his restaurant.
Ed Conlan said that he is offering $500 to anyone who identifies the two people in the video.
Conlan said Tuesday morning's break-in was the first time in the 14 years he's owned the business that crooks have made it inside.
"We've had alarms before where they attempted to get in, but never got in. The Apopka Police Department has been very good as far as responding and patrolling. At four o'clock in the morning, nothing really good happens at that time," Conlan said. "Obviously you are irritated, offended. Thank God nothing seriously was damaged. We were still able to open up business and operate."
In his surveillance video, the two suspects are seen jumping over the counter and grabbing two cash registers.
Conlan said both of the registers were empty, and Apopka police found the drawers busted open in an industrial area nearby.
"We are a small business owner and that money comes out of my pocket, so it was definitely irritating," Conlan said.
Conlan also said Apopka police were able to capture images of the suspects' vehicle from a traffic camera in the area.
