'Captain America' actor at Universal sent nude pics to girl, cops say

Universal says worker suspended after felony charges

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police arrested a man who worked at Universal Orlando as "Captain America" after sending nude pictures to a 16-year-old, according to authorities.

Court documents show James Alton, 29, of Maitland, was arrested Thursday on charges of transmission of harmful materials to a minor by a computer, a third-degree felony.

According to the report, Alton met the teen in April while working at the theme park.

He posed for a picture with the teen and then reached out to her when he found the picture posted on a social media site. The two started exchanging inappropriate text messages and were planning on meeting up on Friday, officials said.

Police said Alton sent nearly a dozen nude pictures of himself to the girl.
The victim's parents discovered the text messages on the 16-year-old's phone and contacted authorities.

Alton told investigators it was a bad decision and that he knew she was 16, according to police.

Friday afternoon, Universal Orlando said Alton had been fired.

Alton also worked at Disney and is on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the investigation, according to a Disney spokesperson.

Police said they are currently investigating to determine if the alleged relationship warrants any additional charges.
