Casey Anthony attending therapy, DOC document shows
Department of Corrections says Anthony has had no violations
The Department of Corrections says Casey Anthony has checked in with her probation officer for her third monthly report.
On the form Anthony filled out for her probation officer, Anthony indicated she has been attending some kind of therapy. The word "therapy" was redacted from the report due to medical privacy laws, but it is clear that is the option she had selected.
According to a release from the DOC, Anthony reported to an unknown probation office location on Wednesday at 6:10 p.m.
Anthony remains unemployed despite the terms of her probation requiring she seek employment, the DOC said. She says she has not earned any money.
She told her probation officer she has not used any controlled substances or alcohol, the DOC said. In her last check in, Anthony indicated she had consumed alcohol.
The DOC said it has not noted any violations of Anthonys probation.
Anthony's location has been hidden from the public, despite her probationary status, for her protection.
She is serving one year of probation for a check fraud conviction, but it is the charges she was not convicted of that cause concern.
Anthony was acquitted in July on charges that she murdered her daughter, Caylee.
Caylee was reported missing in July 2008 and her remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony family's east Orange County home five months later.
During her trial, Anthony's attorneys claimed Caylee had drowned in the family pool in June 2008.
That jury did find Anthony, 25, guilty of four counts of lying to law enforcement.
Anthony's probation is scheduled to end in Aug. 2012.
