Celeb hacking scheme based in Central Florida, Secret Service agents say
Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Hillary Clinton among victims, officials say
A 19-year-old Seminole County man and a woman were arrested on allegations of stealing the identities of celebrities, politicians, including Hillary Clinton and Kim Kardashian.
The U.S. Attorney's Office charged Luis Flores and Kyah Green, 41, on federal fraud charges.
According to the Secret Service, the pair took more than $70,000 from the Kardashian family by calling American Express and pretending to be Kim Kardashian and correctly answering all of the security questions.
Flores and Green had new American Express cards sent to a Seminole County address and tapped into the money in the account, the Secret Service said.
The home was raided and agents said they discovered credit reports and personal information about the Kardashians and several others, including Ashton Kutcher, Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Bill Gates, Jerry Sandusky and Michelle Obama.
