"I've got the credentials, the education, I know how to talk-I think that's important," said Sean Coleburn of Orlando.

He said he's been looking for work for a month, and like many others, he's had interviews but no offers.

"I'm very surprised, there's a lot of companies out here and very good companies, stable companies," said Vanessa Sanchez of Orlando.

Sanchez says she's impressed with the caliber of jobs being advertised.

Mrutasem Altiti is applying for an engineering position at Rosen Hotels.

The sheriff's office is looking for full-time deputies and 911 call operators, and RaceTrac is in need of store managers.

Owner of FASTSIGNS, Susan Fortini, had ten applications in the first 30 minutes of the fair, and they're all fighting for one customer sales position.

"The economy is slowly recovering, it's not speedy, there's a lot of people looking for work," she said.

A spokesperson for Central Florida Employment Council said there will be another one in January.
