Dog owners are pruning and primping their pups in preparation for a dog show this weekend at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
Breeders are in Orlando for an all-breed competition where thousands of dogs will vie for the title of Best in Show.
Competitors take the competition seriously, and the amount of work that goes into preparation can be daunting.
Breeder Raul Perez said he's been preparing his Yorkshire terriers for the competition for months.
"Oh, it gets quite competitive," said show chair Catherine Crampton. "These people are really serious about their dogs. They've spent a lot of time and money to make sure their dogs are in the best of health [and] are well groomed."
