ORLANDO, Fla. – Drivers can't seem to catch a break at the gas pump in Central Florida.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Orlando has increased nearly 15 cents in the last week to $3.52. Last week, the average was $3.38 a gallon.

The uptick can be seen across the region. For example, in Daytona Beach, the price for a gallon of gas has gone up to ten cents in the last week to $3.59.
Local 6 reached out to AAA to see if a gas shortage may be to blame. An official with the company said there is currently a regional problem with gas supplies, and that affected stations in Central Florida should be getting shipments soon.
