LAKELAND, Fla. -

A paramedic is in jail after police say they found on his cellphone child pornography and video of him following young girls.

The Ledger of Lakeland reported Friday that Polk County officials fired 44-year-old Gregg Craft after his arrest.

The paper says Craft had been arrested Sept. 21 after security officers at a Kissimmee Wal-Mart said they saw him expose and touch himself. Osceola County detectives say they found on his phone more than 10 pictures of child pornography and video Craft took of himself following girls in the store.

Detectives say Craft apologized after he was confronted. He is being held Friday at the Polk County Jail on $250,000 bond on child pornography and exposure charges.

It couldn't be determined early Friday if he has a lawyer.
