Both Marion and Sumter counties started Tuesday under frost advisories.  The low in Ocala dipped to 36 degrees, while Orlando woke up to a low of 47.

"Temperatures warm nicely in the afternoon, however, with a forecast high of 72 in Orlando," Local 6 meteorologist Julie Broughton said.  "Expect slightly cooler temperatures along the coast."

Temperatures Tuesday night in Central Florida will be cooler than normal, falling to a low of 48 in Orlando.  Areas northwest of the I-4 corridor will again wake up to the upper 30s.

A warming trend begins Thursday and continues through the weekend, with highs returning to the low 80s by Friday.

Rain also returns to the forecast the weekend.
