Clermont man sought by Lake County deputies

Hector Davila, 54, never arrived at work Friday morning, deputies say

CLERMONT, Fla. – A Clermont man who hasn't been seen since Friday morning is being sought by deputies.

Hector Davila, 54, left his home in the 9800 block of Hasson Ridge Road in Clermont at 10 a.m. Friday. Deputies said he was on his way to his place of employment, DNH Insurance in Mascotte.

Davila never arrived at work and has not been seen by friends, family or co-workers since, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Davila has been on medication following a stroke. Deputies said he left his medication and cellphone behind, which they say is highly out of character for him.

Davila also uses a prosthetic leg brace, which was also left behind. Deputies said he suffers partial paralysis on his left side and takes his medication daily.

Deputies described Davila's vehicle as a white 1999 Dodge Durango with Florida tag AKF G74.
