CLERMONT, Fla. -

Police in Clermont are searching for someone who tried to take a picture up a woman's skirt at a Publix grocery store.

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Publix at 250 Citrus Tower Blvd., according to a police report.

The woman told police she was waiting to be helped in the bakery section of the store when she saw the man crouching down right behind her with his iPhone laying on the floor just below her skirt.

According to the report, the woman confronted the person before he ran out of the store.

A customer service told police he watched as the man ran away, zig-zagging around the grocery store before losing sight of him as he fled on Citrus Tower Boulevard. Police were not able to find him.

Investigators said they will not be releasing video surveillance, which shows the man, nor will they be releasing a description.

"If we release it and it gets aired then that individual is going to know we're looking for them," said Capt. Mike McMaster. "That's going to make it more difficult for us to take that person into custody."

This is the second time this year someone has been caught shooting video or pictures up a woman's skirt at that Publix location. In February, police said someone else claimed a man was shooting video up her skirt.

Clermont police said they don't believe the two cases are connected, explaining they have a person of interest in the first case and an arrest may be coming soon.
