Many names have been rumored to be this year's Super Bowl halftime performer, but in the end it was announced that Coldplay will do the show.
Super Bowl 50 will air Feb. 7 on CBS.

Super Bowl performers in the past have often brought on other guest performers, so many will anticipate a surprise artist to take the stage with the band.
Past performers included Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Beyonce.
