Convicted sex offender found sleeping with pregnant teen

Anthony Williams, 36, arrested again, deputies say

DELTONA, Fla. – A convicted sex offender found sleeping with a 17-year-old girl may have been given permission to continue the sexual relations, from a woman related to the teen, said deputies.

Anthony Williams, 36, admitted to deputies that he was having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl who was 6 to 7 months pregnant with his child, said a Volusia County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies said a tip lead them to his home, where his parole officer found him in bed with the teen.

Neighbors along Gerona Avenue in Deltona knew he was a sex offender, but few realized anything was wrong with his new live-in girlfriend.

"I think it's sick. I really do," said Michael Aguanno, who lives next door. "She looked like she was in her 20s. I did hear about his being a sex offender. So, I went and looked it up and saw it was from when he was 15, so I wrote it off. Come to find out that he's sleeping with a girl under 17."

"He's beside himself. He's in love with her," said William's friend who identified himself as "Terry". "He would do anything for her or that child, but he's behind bars."

Deputies also arrested Andrea Nanni, 42, for child neglect. They won't say how she's related to the teen, but they said Nanni knew Williams was a convicted sex offender, knew he was having sex with the teen, and allowed it to go on.

When asked if the teen's family condoned the relationship, Terry told Local 6, they did.

Deputies said the teen is now staying with relatives as Williams remains in jail.
